NULLN0DE
The job is simple.
Break into a decommissioned datacenter. Find the objective. Upload the data. Get out.
The layout is procedurally generated. No run is ever the same corridor twice. Lights fail. Power dips. Machines rattle in the dark. Most of it means nothing.
Something in here is real. Every run one of the monsters wakes. You won't know which until it finds you.
The Monsters
More than one thing lives between these racks. Each hunts by its own rules, and every run exactly one of them is active. Learn their rules, or learn them the hard way.
The Listener
It has no eyes. It does not need them. Every footstep, every slammed door, every second of that screaming upload. It hears all of it. Stay quiet and it walks right past you.
Try it: move your mouse fast. See what happens.

Procedural datacenter
Server halls, corridors and dead ends reassemble every run. You never memorize the map. You survive it.
One of many
The dark holds more than one monster, but every run only one of them is active. You won't know which. False cues everywhere; only one thing is real.
Sound is everything
The objective is loud. The monster is listening. Every action is a choice between speed and silence.
Co-op (1–4)
Bring friends with TV heads. Watch them get taken. You won't know who is still alive.
Your face is a screen.
Every crew member wears a TV head. It shows your expression, it glows in the dark, and it is entirely yours.
More heads are coming. Wear the one that fits how you want to die.
FAQ
What is NULLNODE?
A 1-4 player co-op horror game. You break into a procedurally generated datacenter, complete an objective and get out while one of the facility's monsters hunts you.
How does the horror work?
The facility is full of false cues: flickering lights, power dips, machines rattling in the dark. Most of it means nothing. But every run, exactly one monster is real. Figuring out what is real is half the game.
Can I play solo?
Yes. NULLNODE supports 1-4 players. Solo is possible, and considerably scarier.
What platforms? When?
PC (Steam) first. NULLNODE is in active development. Wishlist to hear about the first playtest.
What's with the TV heads?
Every crew member wears one. Your face is a screen. What it shows, and what head you wear, is up to you.
Don't make a sound.
NULLNODE is in development. The Discord is where the first playtest invites go out, and where you hear things first.
